Re-using
paint for the community
Why re-use paint?
Most major DIY and local home decorating stores discard paint on daily basis.
This can range from unsold paint, damaged pots to reject tins of paint resulting
from the machine mixing process.
Rather than throwing it away as rubbish Community Re>Paint Hackney collects
usable paint for redistribution to community groups in and around Hackney.
What happens to the paint?
The collected paint is taken to a central Re>Paint store and sorted into
different types and colours ready for redistribution and re-use.
Paint is available FREE OF CHARGE to members of the Children's S.C.R.A.P. Project.
